The National Qualification Framework (introduced by the Qualifications & Curriculum Authority - QCA) is a new way of organising qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is like a map that shows how qualifications relate to each other. It is designed to help learners to make informed decisions about the qualifications they need. Changes were made to the NQF 1 September 2004 to extend the levels from Entry Level to Level 8. Please refer to the official web site for details.
Please Note - ECDL and eDCC do not appear in the official NQF ranking - they have been included here to attempt to show students their approximate relevance.
